Cruise Scandinavia

Kirkeness, Norway

There are many wonderful ways to see the countries of Scandinavia. One is by sea. We offer great packages on major cruise lines. Be sure to ask about our Baltic Sea and Norwegian Coastal cruises. What would be more unusual than cruising from the North Pole to the South Pole? We also have unique tours like this to other destinations.

Scandinavia: beautiful, exciting, and family-friendly
Now is a perfect time to experience Scandinavia. The weather has warmed and the days are getting longer. With summer approaching, here are my suggestions on how you can make your next vacation unforgettable.
The Little Mermaid
Children especially will enjoy the drama and adventure the Scandinavian countries offer: Norway with its fjords; Sweden's vast forests and fields; Finland, land of a thousand lakes; Denmark, home of Hans Christian Andersen, Hamlet's Castle, and Tivoli Gardens; and Iceland's volcanoes and glaciers. In such settings, Norse mythology suddenly comes alive.

You will never find a more family-friendly region than Scandinavia, from the thoughtful amenities and accommodations in each of the Five Capitals, to the range of of activities off the beaten path. Play golf under the midnight sun, cross Sweden on Gota Kanal, or book a killer whale safari that your family will always remember.

Iceland is a treat for travelers of any age, but with its nightlife, music festivals, and hot springs, it is especially popular with the young -- and the young at heart. Despite its name, Iceland enjoys a temperate climate; the Gulf Stream stabilizes the temperature, which rarely falls below freezing.

Norway is for adventurers. You can explore its many miles of coast via coastal steamer, visiting towns and villages along the way. If fishing is your passion, travel above the Arctic Circle where you can reel in your own catch.

The anthropologists among you will enjoy northern Norway, Sweden, and Finland, where they can interact with the Sami people, one of the largest indigenous groups in Europe.

I hope this gives you an idea of the delights a Scandinavian vacation can offer. Contact me for travel arrangements to Scandinavia and other destinations around the world!
