Honduras Mission Team

Please pray for our Honduras Mission Team which will be traveling to Honduras on February 4. Please pray for unity of spirit, receptiveness of people in Honduras to the Gospel message, and the guarding of the hearts of the team members.

No student activities this Sunday night

February is Family Ministry Month 

Throughout February, kids from 3 to 17 will be featured participating in our services each week at 8:30 & 11:00 AM. There will be NO CHILDREN'S CHURCH (K-2nd grade) OR PH2 (3rd-5th grade) on Feb. 5th or 12th!  Kids should join their parents in worship on these two Sundays.

Here is a look at how our children and students will be spotlighted during worship:

Feb 5th: Worship will include a full FX Production introducing the February virtue of Honor - letting others see you know how valuable they really are.   

Feb 12th: Scout Sunday, plus our K-2nd Grade Choir will sing.

Feb 19th Worship will feature the WOW Choir (3-4 year olds) and Blacklight Worship with 3rd-6th graders.   

Feb 26th Worship features student worship band with Jeff Rogers, student pastor, preaching.

This small step will help ensure the safety and security for all of our staff, Day School children and for our visitors and volunteers, as well. We need you! A new Safety & Security Ministry team is forming. This will help safeguard church activities and work closely with usher teams, greeter/hospitality teams, and medical response teams. February's Healthy Body class

February's Healthy Body class will be "First Steps to Family Fitness," a personal trainer-led class that focuses on the basic steps to health through at-home exercises, activities and dietary tips. NICS Expo
The Network of International Christian Schools (NICS) will be hosting its annual Ministry Expo on February 18^th. The event will be held at the Colonial Hills Church in Southaven, and it will run from 8:00am-Noon. The expo will focus on the bigger picture of God's work through NICS around the world. In addition to plenty of food and fellowship, NICS Missionaries will be sharing about God's work at their particular school. If you are interested in global missions, particularly international Christian education, you won't want to miss it! The event is open to the public. Free Tax Preparation

You may be eligible for free tax preparation if you have an annual household income of $49,000 or less. Visit the VITA site at the BancorpSouth Sports Center at Snowden Grove Park in Southaven. The site will be open January 26 through April 12 on Thursdays from 3-6 PM. During the months of February, March & April, the site will also be open on the first Saturday (February 4, March 3 and April 7) from 11 AM until 2 PM. Charity Golf & Walk Invitational for Camp Lake Stephens
