Family Fall Festival is this Sunday!
Gather up the family and head on back to church Sunday afternoon from 3:00-5:30 PM for Family Fall Festival! It will be outside in front of the Children's Building and inside the Chapel, Third Place and Children's Building. Get ready for inflatables, games, face painting, tattoos, balloon animals, Gospel message presentation, cake walk, crafts, popcorn, hayride and food will be for sale. Bring your family! Invite your neighbors! Costumes permitted but keep them modest and not scary. Remember that kids will want to play on inflatables in them.

Cancer support group begins
There's a new group in town! Lively Hope is a cancer support group which will begin meeting Wednesday, October 26, from 2:00-3:30 PM in the Third Place. Enter from the west parking lot. Everyone is welcome: cancer patients, survivors, their friends or family and anyone interested in serving or learning about how cancer can be a blessing and not a curse. Refreshments will be provided.

Domestic violence support
The House of Grace offers a Christ-centered way out of seemingly hopeless situations for the victims of domestic abuse. Their mission is to provide confidential support, counseling and a safe haven for women and their children to live once the choice is made to leave the abuser. If you or anyone you know suffers from domestic abuse, refer them to the House of Grace 24-hour crisis hotline at 662-342-1432.

More mac & cheese, please!
Each year we join other area churches in helping the Samaritans fill Thanksgiving baskets for area families in need. This year our donation is macaroni and cheese. We need 200 boxes. Place your donation in the Samaritan's Box in the lobby. Deadline: Sunday, November 13

Cub Scouts Troop 190 is selling popcorn and Christmas wreaths and sprays. They will be placing orders through Oct. 30th. All items will be delivered the week after Thanksgiving. Parent Pack for October - is available at the registration desk. It includes weekly follow up pages for the "New" Children's Church curriculum AND for Power Hour, there is now a Parent Cue to go along with the God Time cards that kids can do each week! These will be available online soon.
Wednesday Night Studio FX - 6:00-7:30 PM. Check in starting at 5:30 PM at the downstairs information desk in the children's building. All kids from K-6th grade are working on scripture memorization to work towards receiving bracelets in our new Bible Black belt curriculum. Come join us!
