EMERGENCY! (response teams)

The Health and Wellness Ministry is currently in the process of exploring new ideas and restructuring several things within this ministry. One specific need is to locate all qualified emergency personnel within the church body who may be able to assist in various areas of this ministry. This would include police officers, firemen, doctors, nurses, paramedics, and those certified to teach CPR, first aid, etc. In order to get started with planning for different types of emergencies, we need to have input from those of you that deal with emergencies on a daily basis. If you meet this qualification, we would love to hear from you! Please click on either email address below to let us know of your qualifications and if you are willing for us to call on you for your assistance. No matter how much time or how little time you have to give toward this important ministry, we can use your expertise! Please forward your questions or comments to either Amber Johansen at amberjohansen@hotmail.com or Susannah Fox at sfox@getwellroad.org.

Let's go bowling!

The DeSoto Church Bowling League will begin its 7th season on Tuesday, September 27th. The league will play for 12 weeks and will wrap up the season on December 13th. The cost is $15 per week (shoes not included) and we ask that participants be at least 16 years of age or older. Each week, a time of fellowship will begin at 6:30 PM with games starting at 7 PM. If you would like to participate, please sign up at the Information Center or contact Cindy Sommer directly at desotobowl@yahoo.com. Deadline to sign-up is Sunday, September 25th.

THANK YOU

No one could ask for a more loving, caring & praying church family. You can only imagine how Archie and I have been blessed but not surprised by your kindness during my down time because of knee replacement. You have truly made ripples in our lives. May God's blessings be yours as you have blessed us.
My love & thanks, Paula Phipps
