Sept. 11 kicks off next Starting Point Starting Point is a conversational environment where people can explore faith and experience community in a small group setting. Although Starting Point is primarily recommended for those who are reconnecting with God after being away from church for a while, those who are not sure about God or the Bible and want a safe place to discuss spiritual issues, or those who have recently started a relationship with God, anyone can benefit from this class. Even the facilitators of the class learn something new each time they teach it! Do you have more questions or perhaps you are not sure if this class is for you? Please contact Susannah Fox at sfox@getwellroad.org or 349-3680, ext. 229 for more information. Registration for the class is required and you may sign up by contacting Susannah. Class begins this Sunday so call or email today! (There is a $20 fee per participant for class materials which includes the Starting Point book and audio CDs. Please contact Susannah for scholarship availability).

EMERGENCY! (response teams)
The Health and Wellness Ministry is currently in the process of exploring new ideas and restructuring several things within this ministry. One specific need is to locate all qualified emergency personnel within the church body who may be able to assist in various areas of this ministry. This would include police officers, firemen, doctors, nurses, paramedics, and those certified to teach CPR, first aid, etc. In order to get started with planning for different types of emergencies, we need to have input from those of you that deal with emergencies on a daily basis. If you meet this qualification, we would love to hear from you! Please click on either email address below to let us know of your qualifications and if you are willing for us to call on you for your assistance. No matter how much time or how little time you have to give toward this important ministry, we can use your expertise! Please forward your questions or comments to either Amber Johansen at amberjohansen@hotmail.com or Susannah Fox at sfox@getwellroad.org.
