Buried Treasure

Greetings!

Sometimes, when designing a mural, there's an opportunity for a little magic. Good communication between me and the client creates the situation to add a personal, painted treasure.

This first picture captured a scene from the client's trip to Tuscany. However...hidden in the  vineyards is a tiny black cat, providing a delightful search for the owner's young grandchildren, who own the kitten. Much like "where's Waldo?" , the vignette  provides a happy giggle each time the young ones visit.

This next photo is a section of a continuous garden scene that wraps a master powder room.  None of the perennials chosen were random.  The bleeding hearts were a favorite of the owner's mother, keeping her memory ever present.

This luxurious master bath features a scene of Venice.  Topiaries are a personal favorite of the owner, as well as wind-up clocks.  On a personal level, the clock has been set to a time that connects to the owner's memory.

In a grand foyer, this cartouche  above the French doors leading to the den  focuses on the owners home. Parked in the driveway is  a Ford GTO, the owner is silhouetted in the driver's seat.

despite the formal composition of this stairway niche,  the three young sons are engaged in an energetic game of soccer.

This is when a design transcends the mural and  provides an extra layer of meaning.

Magic, Yes?

Could you use a little? Give me a call.
