Olive and Jasmine Asian Bistro
When you think of food in Lancaster County, PA Dutch cooking is usually at the top of the list. But Lancaster offers so many other selections including a great assortment of Ethnic foods. A wonderful surprise is Olive and Jasmine Asian Bistro conveniently located on Route 30 between Tanger and Rockvale Outlets.
The Asian Bistro offers creative cuisine including, Thai, Japanese, Malaysian, Chinese and Vietnamese. The flavors and freshness are only surpassed by the interesting life of one of the owners, Swee Yap. Educated in Baltimore, he returned to his native Asia where he hosted exotic travel packages and entertained many of Asia's leaders. He was just off the coast when the tsunami hit in 2004. Since that devastated the travel business, he decided to return to the US and open a restaurant.
Everything from fresh sushi to teriyaki to stir-fry to curry is offered. The restaurant is BYOB and doesn't charge a corkage fee. The entrees range from $7 to $16 and the restaurant is open 7 days a week. Be sure to ask your Authentic B&B Innkeeper for a 15% off coupon for Olive and Jasmine Asian Bistro.
