Gabriel's Angels visits Mercy Care!
On Thursday, June 28, 2012 our Therapy Team of Kate Titus and Harley visited the Tucson office of Mercy Care to help with a meet and greet to launch their Penny Wars fundraisier. Gabriel's Angels is proud to be the charity of choice! |

Gabriel's Angel's Southern Arizona program has hit the Big 50, in volunteers, not years. Starting five years ago with two Therapy Teams at Casa de los Niņos, our program now has 38 Therapy Teams and 12 Helping Hands serving at-risk children in 26 Southern Arizona facilities. The success of our program is due to a giving community of donors and registered therapy teams who wish to share their loving dogs with the children who need them most. Talk to any of our Team and Helping Hands and you will hear amazing stories about the power of a dog's unconditional love.
Some of these volunteers have also become trained Ambassadors who share Gabriel's Angels mission and their stories with the community. You will see them at public events, speaking engagements, meet and greets and other locations surrounded by folks wanting to know more about our program. Our Ambassadors include Jill Coulter & Grace, Crystal Craig & Cooper, Bob Daliege & Tess, Felice Jarrold & Ellie, Kate Titus & Harley; Marcie Velen & Shayna & Molly; Jackie Vasquez & Reba, and Anne Serrano. We are proud of our Teams, Helping Hands and Ambassadors, and all they do to help Southern Arizona's at-risk children. |

Meet the Team - Jackson and Nugget

Daryl Curran and Janice Burns have been a volunteering twosome with Gabriel's Angels for over 2 years. Having moved to Tucson from Phoenix several years ago, they both were interested in doing something interesting with their dogs, 'the boys,' in their new community. Nugget is a 10 year old Golden Retriever that Janice adopted 9 years ago and Daryl met Jackson 8 years ago when he was a just a puppy.

Tucson's Golf Marathon 
100 Wacky Holes of Golf
No, we are not crazy! Over the years we have developed a fun way where anyone can complete 100 holes of golf in one afternoon. By playing multiple balls at holes, winning contests, completing challenges and short courses, the event remains fun, fast paced and easily achievable. Date: November 10,2012 Location: Quail Canyon Golf Club 5910 N. Calling All Writers!
 We are so pleased to have received several articles from our supporters. We are still looking for more, so if you have stories about trips or tips that you have used with your pets or some ideas people can use to help with training etc., please let us hear them. Additionally, we would love to see photos of your lives with your pets. Did you know you can post them on our website? Click here and you are in "Your Pals Gallery". Once there, you will have to register and be approved, however, it is easy and only takes a few minutes. If you or someone you know is interested or have any questions, please have them contact or submit their article to Christine Hamel for further information!
