Fun!
You don't have to have a dog or even be a therapy team Helping Hand to volunteer with Gabriel's Angels.
We understand that many busy people find it difficult to commit to an on-going volunteer assignment but would love to help out on a project by project basis. If you are one of those people, we need YOU!
Here are a few of the ways you can help Gabriel's Angels free abused and neglected children from the cycle of violence by experiencing the miracle of unconditional love from pets:
Help put together Activity Kits, Board books, and other packets of materials
Serve on a Pets Helping Kids Breakfast committee (Planning, program, sponsorship, registration, etc.)
Be a Table Host at the Pets Heling Kids Breakfast
Help Gabriel's Angels at community events and presentations
Join the Gabriel's Angels Speakers Bureau
Help plan the 100 Hole Golf Marathon
Play and raise funds at the Golf Marathon
Find organizations seeking speakers who would love to hear about Gabriel's Angels
Be on the lookout for groups and businesses who could do a fundraising event for Gabriel's Angels
Help write and distribute press releases
And lots more!

Think You Know A Potential Pet Therapy Team or Helping Hand?
The first step toward becoming a Therapy Team or Helping Hand with Gabriel's Angels is to attend an Information Session. At this session, we provide more detailed information about the children with whom we visit and the process for becoming a registered Therapy Team or Helping Hand. We are hosting an hour-long Information Session at the Dusenberry-River Branch Library, River and Craycroft, 6:30 PM, August 16th.
To register, visit the events section of our website. We will send you an email confirmation when you register, as well as a reminder email two days before the session. If you have a specific question or would like to talk more about volunteering, please contact Tucson Program Director Jan Hutchinson, at 520-425-6095 or via email.
About Gabriel's Angels
We believe that the BOND between a therapy dog and a child is strong enough to break the cycle of violence.
Without dedicated volunteers and supporters, 'OUR ANGELS' who share our passion in changing the lives of abused, neglected and at-risk children with Pet Therapy, that bond would not be possible!
