Easton Main Street Initiative News...
Main Street Welcomes New Events Chairperson

mThe Easton Main Street Initiative is thrilled to welcome
Missy McGinley as the new chairperson for the Promotions-Events committee. Missy, a lifelong lover of Easton is excited to continue to grow Main Street's four annual  events: Riverside Pet Parade, Lafayette Day, Holiday Open House & Peace Candle Lighting and Chocolate Lovers' Soiree. As events chair, Missy will also oversee "Dancing on the Thirds" and the "Live in the Square" summer concert series. Missy looks forward to adding her creative spark to all these events and attracting more volunteers.

In addition to managing Main Street events, The Promotions-Events committee also helps to support Easton events such as Garlic Fest, Heritage Day, Shad Doo-Dah Parade and Soap Box Derby. Last year Main Street worked hand-in-hand with the organizers of Soap Box Derby to expand the event to include entertainment, a car show and kids' activities.  Missy has some very interesting ideas for revving up this year's Derby... stay tuned!
