Bishop has a Blog!

Yes, it is true! The Bishop has decided it was time to create a blog. With the Lambeth Conference going on right now, he felt it was imperative to make sure everyone would be able to get "real" information about what was happening inside the conference.
You can go to his blog by going to www.bishopdan.vox.com
Also, this link will be posted on the old website (www.diocese-eastcarolina.org) so everyone can have access. Be sure to remind your parish about this exciting new addition! This is a great tool for seeing how the Bishop's feel about what is going on in the world. The blog has bishop's views as well as pictures from the events.

About that Website....

The new website, as most of you know, is still under construction. It won't be long now until it is up and running! I am sorry for any inconvenience this has caused, but the new website (when I get it running) will be much more dynamic and useful! Once it is up, you will find easy access to things such as the Bishop's
blog, the Diocesan Calendar, a photo archive, information on
commissions and ministries, and much much more!
It is coming very soon, that I can promise! Thank you all for your patience!

125th Celebration Bulletin Inserts

A lot of you have been asking for an electronic version of this Commemoration/125th Celebration Calendar bulletin insert. So your wish is most certainly my command! Below is a jpeg version of this bulletin.
(If you are on a PC, right-click the image and select "save image as." If you are on a Mac, click and drag the image to your desktop. The file will then open at full size.)
Also, if this image isn't satisfactory, please feel free to email me (kdixon@diocese-eastcarolina.org) and I will personally send it your way!
One Side Note- It was pointed out to me that there is a mistake in the bulletin for the 125th calendar. Under the August 24th event, Mamre Wilson's name and contact information should be posted. In this new jpeg, that mistake has been fixed. I just wanted to make everyone aware of the change, and I will now find a way to fix the mistake for those who are using the printed verson of the bulletin we have already sent out.
