Home Sales Move Faster, Asking Prices Rise

Home sellers are finding a much more favorable market these days as homes are moving faster and asking prices are rising. According to Trulia, asking prices were up 2.3 percent in August compared with the same month last year, and according to the National Association of Realtors, the median amount of time that homes were listed for sale fell to 69 days for sales that closed in July, down from 98 days a year earlier.
