*Suburban Apartment Occupancy Highest Since 2007

When Crain's Chicago Business needed an industry source to comment on the recent Appraisal Research Counselors report on suburban apartment occupancy, they turned to Taylor Johnson client Tony Rossi Sr., an apartment developer and president of RMK Management Corp., a Chicago-based apartment manager. The report found that in the second quarter of 2012, suburban apartment occupancy rates increased and the median net rent, currently at the highest rate ever, remained unchanged. Tony weighed in on factors affecting the market, such as job growth.
