I've Been Waiting a Long Time . . .
I've been waiting a long time to be able to write this newsletter. It's been almost 3 years since I began working on my book, 4 years since I first saw the handwoven linens of Montefalco, 6 years since I tasted the exceptional olive oil from my friend's farm in Umbria and over 10 years taste traveling with my Italian family and friends sourcing artisan food products for CosituttiMarketPlace.
Finally my book is published and the linens and Luigi Corneli Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Umbria are now available at CosituttiMarketPlace. The artisan producers I work with in Italy have become my friends and beginning in May ItalyTasteandTravel will offer small group tours to Northern Italy and Tuscany visiting many of the sites I have written about in my book.
It's not everything but it's a lot and was definitely worth the wait.

Seeing and Savoring Italy with Cositutti

There's More
Everything comes to our newsletter readers with more evites to tasting events that bring Italy home and more new products for 2011 at CosituttiMarketPlace including a long awaited pasta (the posted recipe is from our group cooking class in Emilia). I'm planning more promotions for newsletter readers and partnering with more small business owners who have a taste for Italy. And in the next few months Cositutti will be offering an Italian language class in Northwest Indiana that pairs learning and eating;tasting regional Italian food products selected to complement each lesson. Our teacher is fantastica!
