Traveling in Italy, staying with my Italian family and friends has led me to believe that Italians seem to know how to balance work and relaxation. They go through the work day with a mid-day break, surrounding themselves with beauty and art in their homes and businesses, eating fresh and vibrant food at meals. I want to imitate this but can I. Can Italy be duplicated?

I've spent that last 10 years and 10,000 miles eating, traveling, cooking and shopping in Italy with my Italian family and friends trying to find out and doing my best to bring all fine things Italian to CosituttiMarketPlace. So whether you've traveled to Italy and want to "bring Italy home" or enjoy Italian culture and living and want to learn more, you'll be able to experience Italy
in an authentic and interesting way.

As before, in 2010 my direction and attention follows a tradition that began in 1919 when our Italian grandparents arrived in America. Generational experiences at the table married with ideas based on my taste travels in Italy are how products are brought to CosituttiMarketPLace and by suggestions from you. So if you receive a wants and needs survey from Cositutti, don't be so quick to hit the delete button. I really want to hear from you about that one product that defines your idea of Italy or any other comments you might have.  Grazie!
The Medici Effect
Cosimo MediciIn his book The Medici Effect, author Frans Johansson explores the idea that in the intersection of different fields, disciplines and cultures, there's an abundance of extraordinary new ideas to be found.

Learn broadly, learn often and keep a curious attitude are my resolutions for the New Year (so I'm eagerly awaiting the results of the Wants and Needs Survey). We often don't allow ourselves the time to see if there's anything else that we might actually enjoy doing or learning. Or if there's another way of solving a problem or providing a solution.

During the Italian Renaissance, the Medici of Florence encouraged artisans and scientists to cross disciplines and exchange ideas. And because of their patronage of the arts and sciences, the world experienced a cultural rebirth that changed the course of history. So resolve to follow the James T. Kirk Starship Enterprise style of learning. Explore areas other than your own and create your own Renaissance in 2010.
