L'Erbario Toscano products recreate the time and place described in this story about how L'Erbario Toscano was born. I fell in love with L'Erbario Toscano on my first trip to Italy. It was in the Fall of 1999. My cousin Lidia suggested that we travel by car from Milano through Chianti on our way to Siena stopping to visit Monteriggioni where my cousin's husband Roberto was born. Along the way we found a unique shop in Volterra that sold L'Erbario Toscano products. Little did I know that some years later I would begin a business that would take me back to Italy again and again but I knew when I did I wanted to be able to include L'Erbario Toscano. For me they represent the rustic beauty of Tuscany and a time when I was a novice taste traveler just learning about the art and beauty of Italy and wanting more.

All L'Erbario Toscano products are finished with refined and unusual packaging, made by hand with antique inspired apothecary labeling and a signature tied rope and seal. Recycled papers and natural decorative elements are used in their packaging. The natural beauty of Tuscany is reflected in every detail of production.
