The Alameda Art Works is one of the largest artist communities in the Bay Area. It is home to the art studios of over 35 artists who specialize in oil, watercolor, acrylic, mixed media, pastel, jewelry, textile, woodworking, photography and music. We are located near Race Street, behind the recycle book store on The Alameda

Anything that might have bothered me; any worries or doubts are all melted away by breathing in Life itself. I believe in Life because it is flowing through me and heals me. My "Big Tree" quilt is loaded onto the longarm machine as of yesterday, May 11. I will, for sure, have it all quilted and the binding done for you to see by May 21 & 22 for Open Studio. I'll probably add some paint and embellishment, too, but not until after the event! I started this very large (87x104) piece in July of 2009 when I moved into my studio at The Alameda Art Works. It will feel so great to have completed this major work! :-))
