21 Ways to Collaborate with Other Artists & Bands to Get More Fans

One of the best ways for emerging bands to gain new fans is to be exposed to another band's audience. Especially if you have similar target markets, fans are more likely to trust a recommendation coming from a band they already know and like. Here are some ideas on how you can collaborate with other artists and bands to grow your fan base.

Megan Burtt at Bart's

Dear friends,

Wow, the summer really went by in a whirlwind this year - we hope you enjoyed a relaxing and fun few months. We had an amazing time with our talented campers, enthusiastic parents and fun staff. We're already looking forward to starting our fall programs in mid-September (see dates below), so please take a look at the details online - we'd love to see many of you back in the fall for our Intensive Teen Rock Workshop (starting next Saturday, September 17!) and the Adult Rock Fantasy Camp. Please give us a call with any questions - 303-664-1600.

It's been a busy time in Studio A this summer - we've hosted Scars on 45 and William Topley (both visitors from over the pond), Denver singer/songwriters Matt Morris and Rob Drabkin, and plenty of other great local bands. We've also been doing sound for some terrific live shows hosted by Bart's Music Shack - that's the lovely and talented Megan Burtt above, playing at at Bart's last month. We recommend that you go Like their facebook page right now, so that you'll be aware of these free shows (and support one of Boulder's last indie music shops at the same time).

This was a short newsletter, but look to hear from us in October with a date for our Fall Band Showcase at the Fox - and as always, you can keep up with us on Twitter, Facebook and Flickr in the meantime. Take care, and enjoy the fall weather (beautiful so far).

Thanks       Peace       Gary
