Today at the Dog House
Friends of DHM,
First things first: we'd like to invite you all to our Spring Band Showcase at the Fox Theatre, featuring teen and adult bands from our spring band workshop programs, as well as a few 'alumni' teen bands who are graduating high school this year. Bands include Dumbstruck, Triskelion, Surround Sound, Gray Haskins (solo project), adult band Alien Wax Machine, and DHM alums White as Night and Pandamen. Join us to celebrate: Sunday, April 11, starting at noon, $6.
Also in April, we'll be at the Yellow Scene SuperKids Expo on April 17 (95th & Arapahoe). Kids of all ages and welcome to stop by and get a free lesson; we'll also be offering a special camp registration discount.
Enrollment is underway for our summer teen and kids' programs - see links below for details. Also, you might enjoy this fun graphic summarizing comments we've received from campers and parents:

As we're preparing for summer, we are looking for both high school and college interns. High school students are unpaid, but receive a credit towards any of our camp programs. HS students typically work one day a week for part or all of the summer - please email us with your resume if you're interested. College interns will be part of our Band Development and Promotion Program, and may be able to receive college credit - click here for a description and application instructions.
In the last few weeks, we've hosted some great bands in Studio A: Stockholm Syndrome, just before kicking off their western-U.S. tour; the Big Funky Dance Band (filming for CCTV54); and Bop Skizzum. We also had a great time hosting the auditions for the Teen Stage Battle of the Bands at the Boulder Creek Festival - met loads of great new teen bands - see the final band lineup here.
We're really getting excited for summer, and hope to see many of you soon. Take care, and feel free to contact us if there's anything we can do for you!
Thanks Peace Gary
