Today at the Dog House
We're happy to say that our spring programs are fully underway, and it's been an interesting journey so far. Kids and adults are busily writing songs for your enjoyment at our Spring Band Showcase (date TBA).
We noticed that Colorado Daily is running their annual poll for "Best of CU & Boulder County" - we'd like to invite you to click over to the ballot and vote for Dog House Music. Although there's no category for what we do at DHM (obviously), you can vote for us as 'Best Cutomer Service' or 'Best Independent Business' (or both!). If you love what we do, let them know in the comment box too!
Earlier this week we had a great time with The Blues Ambassadors, who visited Studio A to film a performance for CCTV54's Tuesday Blues - you can also catch this great band at the Boulder Outlook next month (see calendar below). We'd also like to congratulate our old friends Savoy, who recently released a full-length album and announced national tour dates - great to see you guys getting the attention you deserve.
Last month we were honored to be invited to the BVSD Mentoring Celebration (hosted by Community Access Mentoring). We were able to share some stories about teens who participated in DHM camps through the CAM program - in the photo above, Gary and DHM instructor Mirco are with Patti Ashley, director of CAM. It's an amazing group to work with, so if you're interested in being a mentor for at-risk kids, here's some info.
