Today at the Dog House
Friends of Dog House,
Happy 2010! We're incredibly excited to begin this year, during which we'll be rolling out some new programs and working on new projects to expand the Dog House.
But first things first: our spring Intensive Workshop (for Teens) and Adult Fantasy Rock Camp are slotted to begin in late January and early February. Please check out the links below for details, and if you know a musician who would benefit from one of these programs, please forward this information to them!
One major new initiative in early 2010 will be publicizing our new TEAM ROCK corporate teambuilding packages. We've created a brochure outlining how this program works (PDF here), so please take a look. If you work in HR or have experience scheduling teambuilding events, we'd love to hear your feedback and thoughts - please give us a call so we can chat.
Earlier this month we were thrilled to have Denver-based singer-songwriter (and ex-Mouseketeer!) Matt Morris in Studio A, preparing for appearances on David Letterman and the Ellen DeGeneres Show in the next couple of weeks promoting his new album (out today), When Everything Breaks Open.
In December we hosted Boulder's Rose Hill Drive, who were rehearsing for their long-anticipated reunion performance opening for Jane's Addiction on New Year's Eve. We were also visited by Led Zeppelin cover band Zeppephilia, filming a video shoot (catch the video here).
Finally, we'd like to announce a new addition to our teaching staff: Doug Haywood, a singer-songwriter and bass guitarist who has toured and recorded with artists ranging from Jackson Browne to George Harrison. Doug is now available for lessons in vocals and songwriting at DHM.
And now, we're off to attend the 2010 NAMM Show in Anaheim - looking forward to seeing many of you this spring! Thanks Peace Gary |
