Today at the Dog House
Dear Dog House family,
First, we'd like to apologize for no newsletter in February -- we were in a whirlwind of activity with our Spring Intensive Workshop in full swing. We'd like to invite you all to come down to the Fox Theatre on April 5 for our DHM Teen Band Showcase, featuring the great bands from this program.
Right now we're off to the Yellow Scene's Education and Camp Expo - we'll be there until the 7pm today, so please stop by the Broomfield Event Center and say hi. There will also be performances from four DHM teen bands!
Speaking of teen bands, we want to let you know that several of our alumni made it to the next stage of auditions for the People's Fair - the Ultimate Music Xperience (UMX) event. This will happen March 28-29 at Bender's Tavern in Denver, and is a great opportunity to hear two days' worth of great bands.
It's been an exciting couple of months in Studio A - we've hosted MTV (filming a segment of their reality show MADE), as well as a great photo shoot with members of SuicideGirls. Boulder Acoustic Society stopped by in February, and in January we were thrilled to host moe., an amazing progressive rock group out of Buffalo, NY.
