Dear DHM Friends,

 

I want to invite you all to come down to the Fox Theatre on Saturday, November 8 for our DHM Teen Band Showcase. The show will start at 11:00, and will feature new teen bands Graystone, the Grenettes, Midnight Picnic, and Watch for Wildlife, as well as DHM regulars the Pandamen AND this fall's adult band, Steve and the Dirty Little Spoons. These bands have just completed our Intensive Rock Workshop and have been scheduling extra rehearsals, so please help us out by printing the flyer and posting it -- the show is just $5!

 

This month we were pleased to be able to donate Rock & Roll Birthday Party packages to two local schools. September School (Boulder) and Steele Elementary School (Washington Park) will auction the packages off in their annual fundraiser events.

In October we were excited to bring local jazz great Joe Bonner back to Studio A for a taping of CCTV Channel 54's Tuesday Blues. This is a great local program highlighting Colorado's outstanding blues and jazz musicians -- please check it out Tuesdays at 7:00 pm. We also hosted LA-and-Stockholm-based Carolina Liar in Studio A, along with a repeat visit from Colorado's own Drop Dead, Gorgeous.
