Today at the Dog House
Dear DHM friends and supporters,
Welcome to summer! We finished up our first week of summer camp today with a great show at the Boulder Outlook Hotel, and are now getting prepared for the CHUN People's Fair this weekend -- we'll be providing sound at one of the stages and will have a booth, so stop by and say hi! (We'd also like to give a shout-out to our Camp Musical Director and right-hand man Dave Solzberg, for managing the first few days of camp solo this week - thanks!)
Over Memorial Day weekend we also provided sound for the Boulder Creek Fest's Teen Area, where DHM alums Tara Leilani, That's What She Said, and The Stellar Atlas (FKA Bad Mutha Goose) got the opportunity to play. TWSS was definitely a crowd favorite (even in the rain), and also features three out of our five high school interns!
At the left you can follow the link to our May 19 Morning Show with Chris Parente, which finally aired May 19 after several false starts. There were some unexpected exciting moments (hi Gray!) but it went well, and featured three DHM teen bands, That's What She Said, FlipCrash and The Stellar Atlas.
Gary was also interviewed May 31 by reporter (and DHM camp dad) Jim Hooley for KMGH Channel 7 -- we're still working on finding a link to this, so check back on our news page where we collect recent media coverage if you'd like to check it out.
Looking forward to seeing many of you over the next eight weeks of camp - as always, thanks for your support, and please check out the offer at the bottom of the newsletter for a free session in our amazing Rock Hero video gaming studio!
