Today at the Dog House

Wow, we have a huge amount of news to share with you this month:
To begin with, our Summer Rock & Roll Camp for Teens was the Boulder Weekly's staff pick for Best of Boulder 2008! This is pretty exciting for us -- check out the story to the left (in which Gary was also voted Coolest Guy Over 40). You'll also see the terrific write-up our Rock & Roll Birthday Parties received -- please check out this new offering, which is a great way to celebrate special events for the young (or adult) musician in your family.
We filmed the spot for the CW2 Morning Show w/Chris Parente a few days ago; it will air on or around May 19, channel 2, 7-8 am. DHM alums FlipCrash and Bad Mutha Goose were featured, as well as our brand-new Rock Hero studio. (See bottom of email for your chance to check out this new room, which the gamers among you will dig.)
Other events: we're providing sound for the CCTV54 (Boulder) annual benefit party on May 17. This fun event is held at the Steinbaugh Pavilion in old Louisville, and will feature entertainment from the Zydematics, Papa Juke, Boulder Taiko Hibiki, Deep Intuit jazz quartet and more. (Find this and other DHM events on our Facebook page.) We also provided sound for an April 23 concert at Monarch High School benefitting Invisible Children (where we worked with Lost Point, a former DHM client and KBPI's Best Band in Denver).
At the end of the month we'll be providing sound at the Boulder Creek Festival -- stop by and check out the teen area, where DHM and other teen bands will be playing!
As always, thanks for your support and referrals -- while we do do some local advertising, our new clients and customers almost always say they came because of good recommendations from you all -- we appreciate your help!
