Our fall Intensive Workshop series was a huge success, producing 5 bands and one solo artist (19 teens total), as was the Adult Rock & Roll Fantasy Camp (one all-mom band). All bands rocked the final show November 4 at the Fox Theatre -- over 130 tickets were sold, NOT COUNTING comp tickets handed out to friends and family. The DVD from the show is now in editing, and will be available for purchase by campers and parents (awesome stocking stuffer!) and will also be part of the short documentary we shot during camp for promotional purposes. We anticipate that most of the bands who performed last weekend will go on to play around town, joining several other DHM camp alums -- see Band Calendar below for dates. Photos aren't out yet, but will be up on the DHM website as soon as possible. Congrats to Bryce Evans, winner of the $50 giftcard donated by Guitar Center and awarded during the show Sunday.

 

In October the Dog House continued to see increased evening rehearsal clientele, and hosted some exciting new bands -- last night Boulder's Channel 54 was here in Studio A filming with jazz great Joe Bonner! Also in October, several teen bands including DHM alums White as Night and FlipCrash were invited to perform on Channel 54's new Up and Coming series, featuring local young talent.
