Join us for The Advent Event!

What's The Advent Event? It is a time to plan for Christmas. Advent is the church season before Christmas. Advent is meant to be a time where Christians prepare for Christmas.

Together, we (all ages) will meet in the Parish Hall between the services to make Advent Calendars. Information on Advent will also be provided in order to make Christmas even better by our preparation for Jesus.

 We will make Advent calendars out of felt. You will be able to reuse them each year. Each day, one of the calendar flaps reveals an act of preparation for Jesus' coming for the family.

 Sunday, November 29th

9:15 am - 10:15 am

Parish Hall

You can eat breakfast while making your calendar

 No Cost, but we need a reservation from you in order to purchase materials.

Vestry
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It's that time of year when we discuss stewardship, pledging, budgets, tithing, etc. Some consider the topic awkward and don't like the discussing these topics during worship. The fact remains that the mission our church takes time, energy, and money - all of which comes form us, the people of St. Andrew's. Deciding to pledge and determining an amount to pledge is a personal decision. I know Father Jim has said it many times- money needs to be given freely and cheerfully. It must also come from us.
During our November services, a member of the vestry will discuss stewardship during our services. We will officially launch our stewardship campaign in January. Know that it's coming and start thinking about your commitment level, and, remember....
Every pledge counts. You make a difference.  Thank you and God bless.
Thank you to everyone that came out to help at the workday this past Saturday.  We have the grounds looking great for Christmas and got some inside work done too. Thanks to all who shared their tools to help us complete the work. Special thanks to the scouts that spread two large piles of dirt in the front lawn. St. Andrew's could not be as success without membership involvement. Thanks again for your hard work for St. Andrew's!
