FDA Sets New Uniform Compliance Dates for Food Labeling Regulations

EPA Proposes Lowering Leak Rate for Refrigeration Units
 EPA is proposing changes to the Section 608 Refrigerant Recycling Rule that would implement a more stringent leak threshold for large refrigeration units. Last week's proposal would require commercial refrigeration and industrial process refrigeration repairs once leaks of ozone-depleting refrigerants exceed 20 percent, a change from the current 35 percent threshold. ABA is evaluating the impact of the EPA proposal. Comments are due Feb. 14, 2011.
