ABA Senior Vice President, Government Relations & Public Affairs Lee Sanders served as a panelist during AACC International's 2010 annual meeting in Savannah, Ga.  The session, "Forecast for the US Regulatory Climate: a Gathering Storm of Enforcement, Regulation and Legislation for Foods," included overviews on nutrition, labeling, food safety and marketing. A synopsis of the panel's overview presentation will be featured in the November / December issue of Cereal Foods World.

On January 25, 2011, the ABA Human Resources, Safety, Legal and Distribution Committees will join together for a breakfast with Sen. Richard Burr, member of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee.  Senator Burr will discuss his priorities in the 112th Congress as well as plans to restore private sector confidence in the economy.
