Welcome to our third "Weekly Wing Tip" from The Commission Tracker Owl!
Today we are going to discuss another change we made to version 7. This change involves a new option on the Policy screen. In the Policy Information section of the Policy screen, you will find the old "Billing Type" option has been changed to "Pay Agents".
The two options are Pay Agents Always or Pay Agents One-time. The default is Always.
If Pay Agents is set to One-time, then all agents will only be paid on the first commission posted and then never paid again. This is perfect for "finder's fee" scenarios where your Agency may receive 12 monthly payments, but the Agent(s) only receive a commission on the first payment. |
