Dear ,

Cocooning might just be my favorite new word. It can describe:
  • growth
  • protection
  • change
  • a time away

Randy, daughter Ashley, and I were cocooned November 25 in a car accident. We were following the team bus after a playoff loss just 30 minutes before, when we were hit from behind and pushed into the team charter bus. Our car was totaled. Randy sustained the only lasting injuries- a badly broken right ankle. 11 weeks later I am writing to you still so thankful for the cocoon God put us in: His love and provision for our every  need. Ashley is now 25 weeks pregnant with their 4th child; Randy and I  went back to work full-time last week. It was  a season of growth, protection, change, and a time away from the world.

Perhaps you have had a season of cocooning. Tell us about it!
