About The Works
Greetings!

When was the last time your child built a towering structure of blocks?  Experienced first-hand the difference a pulley makes?  Learned about optical sensors - while making beautiful music?  If it's been a while, come on down to The Works this week!  In addition to our regular Friday and Saturday hours, we will also be open Monday, April 5th and Tuesday, April 6th from 12-4, and Thursday, April 8th from 12-7.  More information below.

And while you're here, you can register for one of our great summer camps!  Pick up a brochure while you're here or read about our offerings online.  See below for details.

We hope to see you soon!

Camps are already filling!

The Works' summer camps are ideal for girls and boys going into kindergarten through grade 7 who love to explore, discover, design and build.  Campers have fun and learn how things work with hands-on projects in many areas of science and engineering.

The Works' camps are very popular, and many of them fill early.  Be sure to reserve your spot today.  For descriptions of all the camps, prices, and registration information, click here.

Have You Seen This Yet?

boy with marble runThis is the marble run, and it's one of the exhibits in The Works' gallery.

Use the sturdy wooden pieces to create tracks for a marble to zip down.  You can make the marble zoom, zig zag and jump.  Can you figure out how to use the marble to ring a bell?

The marble run is on permanent display at The Works.  So come on down, and see what you can do!
