May has been a WILD month for us. It started off with the Oil Tool Show, followed by Transportation Week, an Import Export Workshop and then the Women' Business Enterprise Expo. All in all a busy month. But the one constant theme through "all" the events is that business is in an upward trend.
We too have started to see this trend with a noticeable increase in daily truck traffic through our facilities and we hope that each of you are starting to feel some relief from the economic pressures of the past year.
Memorial Day is right around the corner and we wish everyone a safe holiday weekend.
Customer Service
Over 15 years of "Customer Service" has enabled our company to continue to grow. Most of our customers have been brought to us by other customers knowing that servicing the customer needs are what is at the core of our "mission" statement
Employee and Driver Safety are of great concern and we go that extra mile to assist a driver. In this particular customers case, it's help to get the load tarped and the driver safely up and down from the top of the load without injury.
Let us go the extra mile in helping you with your storage and transloading needs.
CSA 2010
We find that there is so much information out there that we could not begin to include everything in our newsletter, so we have set up a "BLOG" that we post to on a regular basis. You can bookmark this link and check whenever you wish.
Almost weekly we have more information coming our way on CSA 2010. The most important is that "official" implementation is delayed until NOVEMBER of 2010.
It's important to note that there is a section of the program that deals with those that run 1 to 5 trucks, which DOES include Customer owned and operated trucks.
They are cautioning everyone involved with the transportation industry to be aware of these new regulations. One of the most informative tools that we've seen to date has been the report from Transport Topics. There is a link to a very informative PDF file on our blog.
