New Webcam at Siping!

As many of you may know we have been having "issues" with the Siping webcam.  We are pleased to say that is behind us and we now have an even better webcam with streaming video so it looks just like a normal TV broadcast.  No delays and jerky motions (well...except for the occasional "oops" when someone moves the camera)!

We will have it available to everyone who reads our newsletters on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week from 9:20pm to 9:50pm EDT.  Just CLICK HERE to go to the webcam site.  After you are there click on the play button if it does not start automatically.  If it says "offline" at the bottom of the screen then you are trying to view the webcam at a time other than the designated times of the broadcast.

After this week a password will once again be needed to view the webcam.  For those of you that are already sponsors of the children in the Center you will use the password you already have.  For any new sponsors, you will receive a password when we receive your sponsorship notification by email.

This is a wonderful way for everyone to be able to see the children at play, and witness the benefits of the good care that the Center staff provides every day.

Chang DeJuan Requires Immediate Surgery - Your Help Needed!

CDJChang DeJuan's condition has worsened over the weekend. The lesion on her back which is caused by her Spina Bifida  has become infected and the pressure on her brain from the hydrocephalus has increased.  The doctors had hoped to allow her to get a little older and gain some weight before surgery but they have decided they must act now.  This lesion must be closed by a surgeon to return the damaged spinal cord to the body in as normal a position as possible. This protects it from further damage or infection. She will probably require a shunt to drain the excess fluid from her brain. DeJuan will need special care for several weeks.

CDJ3We must raise at least $6000 as soon as possible for her surgery.  The hospital will go ahead and admit her and begin preparations for the surgery but we must be able to pay them immediately.

You can make a donation by clicking on the donate button below to donate by PayPal or credit card.  You can also CLICK HERE to go to Chang DeJuan's page on Bringing Hope To Children .  Your donation is tax deductible.

Thank you for your help for little Chang DeJuan as she struggles for life.  We will keep her page updated at Bringing Hope To Children as her surgery and recovery progress.
