We still need additional donors to fully fund the Centers. Your monthly donation will provide housing, food, medical attention, diapers, clothing, etc., to these special children.  Just CLICK HERE to see how easy and rewarding a donation to help these kids can be!

Tian Tian  -  She has lost her battle

Our hearts are breaking as we write this, and there is no easy way to tell you. Little TianTian passed away on March 9 (China time). Hannah told us on March 8 that she was running a high fever and vomiting. We knew the fluid was building up again and feared her recent shunt would have to be replaced, but hoped this illness was viral. The fever came down only slightly with medication but the doctors suspected meningitis. Her condition worsened overnight with her fever reaching 106F before she slipped away.

The nannies, and Frank and Hannah are devastated, as are we. This little one fought so hard. Her sweet smile and gentle nature will be missed by those who loved and cared for her, and also by those of us who kept her in our hearts.

I'm sorry to bring you such news, but we knew you would want to know, since you loved her, too.

Thank You!

To those of you that have stepped forward to sponsor a child we want to say thank you although we know a thank you is just not enough for the generosity you have shown.

To those who have not yet sponsored a child we invite you to visit with these children at http://bringinghopetochildren.org/children/china.html. Take a look at the progress some of these children have made.  You can help this continue with a very small donation!

The webcam at the Siping Center is working great.  Just go over to our site at Bringing Hope to Children, sponsor a child, and you can see the kids at the Center in real time.
