Special Needs Children from China
Changchun1Over the next few days we will be placing on our site the special needs children we have recently received from the CCAA in China.  We are placing all the information we currently have about them on the site for all to see along with the most current photos available.

The CCAA has stated that they will not provide any additional information about the child unless the information is less than one year old when we receive it.  They are also very emphatic that agencies are not to contact the orphanages for any additional information and that orphanages will be punished if the CCAA finds out that this contact has been made.  Therefore, the information we have on our site about each child is likely to be all the information we will be able to receive.

What to do if I am interested in a Child
Changchun1 We ask that all families considering adopting a special needs child do their home work.  Know what special needs you can and cannot accept and do some research on the Internet or talk with your local doctors.  We are looking for families that are committed to adopt the child they choose and we want you to be as well informed about the child's special need as possible.  Once you have made the commitment we expect you to complete the adoption as does the CCAA and most of all the child.  Do not enter into this lightly.  Once you have made the decision a child is depending on you.

You should do the following before calling us to commit to a child:
  • Decide on the special needs you can accept.
  • Investigate the medical issues concerning the child's special need.
  • Review your finances to be sure you have the resources or can apply for grants for the funding.
  • Be sure that your husband or wife is as committed as you are to the adoption.
Once you have made a commitment to a child and you have received pre-approval (PA) we must have your dossier with in 6 months.  This is more than enough time to prepare the dossier unless you are delayed by USCIS.

If you have any questions give us a call or email.  We are here to provide what ever assistance and guidance we can in your decision making process but ultimately it is your decision to make.
