Coming to your Senses

Focusing on your other senses can be an effective distraction and pain coping technique for labour and childbirth.  Here are some simple things you can do to stimulate your senses and make your birth experience a more pleasurable one.

Sound - We have all heard that playing soft music can help you relax during labour, but be sure to also bring music that awakens and inspires you to dance.  Moving and changing positions can be just what you need to get labour rolling and assist with manoevering baby to the optimal birthing position.  Labour is exhausting and lively rhythmic music can help you find your second wind.

Fit 4 Two joins forces with the Regina Public Library to offer a combo class. Tummies 4 Mommies will focus on 30 mins of core exercises and then Mainly Mother Goose will be doing songs, rhymes and stories all for baby's enjoyment. Our annual "Thank you" Stroller Fitness Class is our way to say "Happy Mother's Day!" to all the amazing moms in our community. 
  
Each Fit 4 Two location will be hosting a  free Stroller Fitness class Friday, May 6th.  Registration is required so please visit your local Fit 4 Two page for more information.
