Generations of Swimming

Perry resident Julie Lefelhoc has had a love for swimming her whole life. She was a competitive swimmer from the time she was 8 years old and on throughout college. Although her days of competitive swimming have passed, she still spends time in the pool swimming recreationally. While swimming at her local rec center several years ago, she noticed a Swim for Diabetes flyer that caught her attention. Always up for a challenge, Julie decided to sign up and had a great experience at the event and soon enough she had the whole family involved. Click here to read more about Julie and her family's story. swimmer

This hawk went through the window at the arts and crafts building at Camp. Check out that hole! He was a bit dazed but eventually walked out the front door and flew away.

Tina Milano Headshot

At Diabetes Partnership of Cleveland, we encourage healthy eating and regular exercise for everyone, especially people living with diabetes. However, we know how challenging that can be in the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

March is National Nutrition Month and is the perfect way to remind ourselves to stay on track and continue to choose positive lifestyle choices. Siri, Diabetes Partnership of Cleveland's Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator, is available to help you customize your diet and give you helpful tips and advice on how to successfully manage your diabetes. In a recent study produced by The Prevention Research Center, one in every eight Cleveland adults is living with diabetes. This statistic is alarming and makes it more important than ever to take steps towards a healthier life.

Let's stay healthy together. Please take advantage of National Nutrition Month. Call Diabetes Partnership of Cleveland and see what you can do to start living well with diabetes.
