- Diabetes Matters Empowerment Groups
- The Lakewood empowerment group will take place at Beck Center for the Arts on September 21 from 10:00 to 11:30 am.
- The Cleveland empowerment group will take place on September 28 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Neighborhood Family Practice.
- Euclid empowerment group will take place on September 19 from 6:45 to 8:00 pm at Euclid Public Library.

- Registration for October's Nutrition Management Series is open. Classes are held on Tuesdays from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Diabetes Partnership of Cleveland. Call to register today at 216-591-0800.
- Our Diabetes Fair will be held on October 6 at Embassy Suites Cleveland - Rockside from 12:30 to 4:00 pm. This health fair is FREE but registration is required by Friday, September 30th. Click here to register online or register by phone at 216-591-0800.
- Diabetes Partnership of Cleveland is partnering with University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital for a special diabetes event on Saturday, November 19, 2011 from noon to 4:00 pm at Cleveland Marriott East. Diabetes Discovery Day is an opportunity to learn about the latest advances in diabetes. Early Registration fee: $10 for a family of four, $5 for every individual after. Camp Ho Mita Koda:
- Camp Ho Mita Koda will hold a Fall Bicycle Ride on Saturday, September 17 along the Towpath Trail in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The ride is open to anyone over age 12. Dr. Doug Rogers will lead the 24-mile-long ride beginning at 10:00 am. The fee is $5.00 per rider. Pre-registration is required.Call 216-591-0800 or visit www.CampHoMitaKoda.org for more details.
- Camp Ho Mita Koda is hosting a Teen Program on October 1 from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm at Camp. This program focuses on healthy lifestyle choices for teens ages 14-17 with type 1 diabetes and includes fun Camp activities. The cost for this program is $20 per teen. - Blue Knights Ohio XV is hosting its 22nd Annual Benefit Ride in memory of Mark Laccheo. The event takes place on Sunday, September 18, 2011 at Camp Ho Mita Koda. Lunch and snacks will be provided. The cost is a $15 donation for drivers and $10 donation for riders. All proceeds will support the Camp Ho Mita Koda Campership fund. Click here for more information.
- We are selling raffle tickets throughout the year for our Handmade "Rings of Hope" Double Wedding Ring Quilt. Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20.
