A Quick Look At News You Need to Live Well

This week is National Volunteer Week!  A special thanks to all of our volunteers.  We couldn't do what we do without YOU!

  • A big THANK YOU to everyone who swam, volunteered or raised donations for Swim for Diabetes April 8-10! Remember--you have until May 6 to turn in your donations and qualify for prizes, including a free ticket to the May 21st Cleveland Indians game for $100 in donations. Raise $200 and you get to "parade the field" before the game, too!  Please note that new game time is 4:05pm.  Visit www.swimfordiabetes.com for details.

  • Did you swim in honor of or in memory of someone special at this year's Swim for Diabetes? We'd love to hear your story. Please email swim@dagc.org with your stories and photos from Swim weekend.

  • The next session of DAGC's Diabetes Matters™ Empowerment Group at the Beck Center for the Arts in Lakewood will take place Wednesday, April 20 from 10-11:30 am.
