Husky Night with the Mariners - July 18
 Join fellow UW Bothell alumni at Safeco Field for Husky Night with the Mariners. Over 1,200 UW faculty, staff, students and alumni have already signed up to cheer on the Mariners as they take on the Cleveland Indians, and there is still time to purchase your tickets!
Felix Hernandez is scheduled to take the mound in the M's first game following the All-Star Break. By
attending, you will receive a limited edition Huskies/Mariners t-shirt
at the game. It's also Felix Hernandez bobblehead night for the first
25,000 fans in Safeco Field. $6 of every ticket sold will go towards
the Husky Pride Scholarship Fund!
But Hurry! The deadline to purchase Husky group tickets is
Wednesday, July 16th by 5PM.

Husky Night with the Everett Aquasox - August 16
 Join us at Memorial Stadium for Husky Night with the Everett Aquasox. Enjoy a pregame all-you-can-eat BBQ featuring favorite ballpark fare such as hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, ice cream and soda. The BBQ picnic begins at 6 p.m. and the Aquasox face the Eugene Emeralds at 7:05 p.m. - Saturday, August 16, 2008

- BBQ & Game Tickets: $16 UWAA members; $20 Non-member; $15 children under 12.

Trackin' the Dawgs - Alumni Class Notes
Neil Low (Liberal Studies '03) releases his first novel Thick as Thieves this month. Low is also a captain with the Seattle Police Department and the agency's first commander of its new Ethics and Professional Responsibility Section. Other areas he has commanded include: Homicide and Violent Crimes, Internal Affairs, and Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault. While at UW Bothell he wrote for the school newspaper, The Commons. A Seattle native, he now lives in Everett with his wife and three daughters.
Low was featured recently discussing his new novel in a variety of media outlets including:

Bonnie Blanchard (BSN '00, MN '04) started in June as a Research Nurse Coordinator for Swedish Neuroscience Institute.
Chris Heiland (Business '02) will join the UW Seattle Marketing team as a primary web developer later this month.
Shane Hill (BSN '02) is in the Nursing Anesthesia program in Portland, Maine and looks to complete the challenging path of study in late 2009.
Rob Amidon (Business '08) made the front page of the Everett Herald, photographed for a story featuring guide dog candidates for sight-impaired kids.
