Cancunmesse is the largest trade fair (venue) in Latin America, built with an avant-garde architecture and designed to organize exhibitions, congresses, fairs, shows and cultural events, with versatility and an innovative vision. The main objective is to offer the best plan for implementation of events (and) business support and encourage the international success of a large infrastructure with a variety of flexible spaces with international standards appropriate for each situation. In its first phase, the new venue offers 98,490 square feet of indoor exhibit space and 134,991 sq. ft. of outdoor space. In the next two years, Cancunmesse will offer a total of 233,481 sq. ft. of indoor exhibition space, plus an additional 107,640 sq. ft. of outdoor space.

American Eagle, the regional affiliate of American Airlines, received government approval to begin daily, nonstop jet service from Dallas/Fort Worth Airport to two new destinations in Mexico.  Beginning Feb. 10, Eagle will introduce daily flights to Veracruz, using 50-seat Embraer ERJ-145 jet aircraft, and to Queretaro, using 37-seat Embraer ERJ-135 jets. "These daily nonstop flights will link customers from throughout central Mexico and the Gulf Coast region with American's largest hub, offering convenient connections throughout American's global network," Gary Foss, vice president of planning and marketing for the AA Regional Network, said in a statement.
