MIE SUPPORTING GULF OIL SPILL |
MIE is deeply saddened with what is happening in the Gulf, our hearts go out to our fellow friends in the Gulf region who are suffering from this environmental tragedy. Visitors to New Orleans should know that the city is located 100 miles inland, thus any physical or environmental damage has been avoided. Tourism in New Orleans has undergone a resurgence this year as huge numbers of visitors and convention-goers have flocked to one of the world's most exciting culinary and nightlife destinations. MIE is most appreciative of our fellow Gulf area citizens and is always looking to find any way to lend support, therefore, MIE has made a donation to the Red Cross to support this cause hoping this tragedy can come to an end.
