How Were My Seats?
To get stadium seats you have to enter a lottery for tickets in September/October of the year before.
They don't tell you which day or location (center court, court no. 1, or court no. 2). You get what day, what stadium and what seats they give you and then plan your trip around that.
We not only got tickets, we got tickets to Center Court on the middle Saturday and were seated in the 3rd Row. How awesome!

What Matches Were On?
We watched Jie Zheng take on Serena (who had some difficulty with the blustery conditions). Then we watched Ferrer defeat Rodick. And we wrapped up with Murray and Bagdatis. We saw the first two sets and had to leave in order to catch the final underground trains of the evening (of course we had been there from 10:30am-9:00pm, and it was cold too. These photos are taken from the angle of my seats. Check out the top right of the photo where some of the fans are wearing bright yellow tennis balls (oversized and cut in half) on their heads. Ferrer had amazing returns. I'm going to thoroughly enjoy watching the finals this weekend. Tune in! |
