The Truck is gone |
There is so much to tell you about this month I hope I don't bore you to tears.
First of many have asked about our Turkey Dinner Packages. We did a few more than we had said we would do, and again, we think that it was about the limit for us. Mostly it is a space issue. There is only so much room to work in our kitchen and we still have a restaurant to run.
We are so grateful that we were able to help so many people have a stress free Thanksgiving. Several have already emailed or stopped us to say thank you and let us know that everything was awesome!
Since we are apparently gluttons for punishment, we turned around and made six deliveries to Kohl's Department store. We fed their staff in shifts beginning at 3am Thursday/Friday night and ending at 7pm Friday night.
We did manage to get some time with the family, watch the Lions lose (again) and eat our share of turkey (not cooked by us) |

Do Not Miss Out! (Again)
FIVE WHOLE DAYS!
December 19-24th
If you hadn't notice the holiday season is quickly approaching! Some people even have their Christmas lights up. we are still recovering from Thanksgiving. Some say its never too early to do some holiday shopping; however it can be too late. If you are like me and wait to the last minute to do my shopping. I have absolutely no patience waiting in line for an hour waiting to checkout, while staring blankly off to the front of the line area thinking "why did I wait 'til the last minute again?" Then it hits me my big excuse, or at least the one my wife gives me - "you're JUST a typical man". Not even a special one to wait in line for an hour on Christmas Eve, when I could be doing something else, but I suffer for her!! Yeah, right, I am lazy!! Anyway, back on track, if you don't like, I mean despise, standing in line, hoping to get that right gift, I have a better alternative, Full City Cafe gift certificates!! It's a great gift, saves on doing dishes and everyone has to eat, right? Plus you can have a nice meal while you shop.
Starting December 19 (we decided to go one more day just for you!)
