Weekends At Full City Cafe
Made from Scratch? You bet.

The anti-prepackaged food establishment.

Greetings!

I think one of the neatest things that I do is talk to people who come in and celebrate their anniversaries with us.

My favorite question is, of course, how long have they been married. I have heard everything from one year to the longest of  63 years.

Lisa and I have been together just over 20 years. We have been married just 10.

We have done a lot of things together.

She has has shared and taken an interest in whatever I have been interested in. Kite flying, scuba diving, hiking, camping, flying airplanes and traveling. I have a friend who has built three airplanes and has almost completed a fourth. He received a trophy for his excellent workmanship. His wife has been in his workshop one time. Wasn't even present when he won the award.  I am a lucky guy.

But, our business is probably the all consuming thing in our life. We have owned Full City Cafe 19 years (next month) and have not looked back. Through al the trials and tribulations, I can't think of anything I would rather be doing that working with the person I love at my side.

Some people ask how we do it. To some working with your spouse would be horrifiying. We wouldn't have it any other way.

We will be spending our day together today, like every day. We will working, creating, probably arguing a little bit and hopefully, we can get out a little early so I can take her out for a drink and let some one else cook a bite to eat for us.

Happy Thanksgiving to you.

Happy Anniversary Lisa, I love you!

Sincerely,

Gift Certificates
As the holidays approach, the giant Asian factories are kicking into high
gear to provide Americans with monstrous piles of cheaply produced goods --
merchandise that has been produced at the expense of American labor. There is no longer an excuse that, at gift giving time, nothing can be found that is produced by American hands. Yes
there is!

It's time to think outside the box, people. Who says a gift needs to fit in
a shirt box, wrapped in Chinese produced wrapping paper?
Everyone -- yes EVERYONE eats!

There are a bazillion owner-run restaurants -- all offering gift
certificates. (WE KNOW ONE-HINT!)
Remember, folks this
isn't about big national chains -- this is about supporting your home town.

Buy for your family and get a gift for yourself when you do. How awesome is that??!!
