7 Things You'll Never Hear Dad Say

  1. Darnit ... I'm lost. Can you believe that? I'll just stop here and ask directions.
  2. Sweetie, now that you've turned 13, I think you should be allowed to do whatever you want.
  3. I really like the attitudes of your friends. They seem angry and disrespectful and I see the value in that.
  4. I just want you to have my credit card and new car so that you can have a great time. No curfew. Go ahead, go wild!
  5. While your mother and I are away for the week-end, I thought you might want to have a party. Here's the key to the liquor cabinet.
  6. I think a tattoo of the devil would look great on you. Let's go down to the parlor-I'm paying.
  7. You don't need to work for your spending money. Shoot, I make enough. How much do you need?

June is Strawberry month. I have challenged the kitchen staff to have some use of strawberries every day in at least one of our Chef's Selections and at least one dessert.

We plan to use Michigan strawberries when they are in their short season and then we will be forced to use California or Florida.

We hope you will join us several times during the month to see what the kitchen crew comes up with
