Therapist Corner

CONGRATULATIONS! to ABA 4 U therapist Lindsey Bronstein on being accepted into the competitive Applied Behavior Analysis Masters program at Caldwell College! We are very proud of her and excited that she is taking this next step in her career.

We are pleased to announce a new addition to our team at the Clinic- Alex Anisko. Alex received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Government and Law from Lafayette College. She currently is obtaining her Master of Science degree from Monmouth University, in the hopes of transferring to Caldwell College to obtain her Master of Arts in Applied Behavior Analysis. Alexandra is very energetic and passionate in helping children with autism through early intervention.

PENNY DRIVE!
coins
If you have not yet noticed the display in our Office- the kids at the ABA 4 U clinic are having a Penny Drive to raise funds for Autism Awareness, Please consider donating in honor of our amazing young learners.

Within the past few weeks, the CDC released alarming new statistics, suggesting that 1 out of 49 children in New Jersey is diagnosed with a Autism Spectrum Disorder. While experts agreed that the high rate in our state is most likely due to increased awareness and the large number of professionals in NJ that are able to recognize the signs of autism- it is clear that early diagnosis is key. The earlier a child is diagnosed, the earlier a family can begin seeking support and scientifically validated treatments.

All proceeds from the Penny Drive will be donated to Autism New Jersey. Autism New Jersey is a valuable resource for many of our families, that provides support and education to the community at large.

Announcements!

We are beyond excited to have Giselle Feliciano join our team at the Clinic as the Administrative Assistant! If you have not yet met Giselle or talked to her on the phone, she will be handling all business related issues on a daily basis. We are so lucky to have Giselle and her smiling face greet us every morning! Her help will allow us to spend more time focusing on what we do best- working with the children! Please help us in welcoming Giselle and be sure to introduce yourself if you haven't already.

Remember to do your part for Autism Awareness Month. Start a support group, volunteer, educate your friends and family, or take an educational course yourself. Get involved!

Thank you for being part of the family at ABA 4 U.

Sincerely,

The Staff at ABA 4 U
