Cassidy is the sole competitive skater at the Grovedale Figure Skating Club. Over the past year, she has been part of the Alberta Winter Games and Arctic Winter Games Team, as well as recently passing her Novice test. When Cassidy isn't training or competing, she is busy helping other skaters as a program assistant. Her hard work and dedication make her a positive role model. Congratulations Cassidy on being selected as Duso's June Skater of the Month!

MS Bike Tour

On June 9, 2012, Skate Canada Official Karen Penrice began her 180 km journey across Central Alberta with her team Leathered Up, to raise money for multiple sclerosis. Karen raised $1,140, surpassing her $300.00 goal. Congratulations Karen on a fantastic job!

Sports Day in Canada is presented by CBC Sports, ParticipACTION and True Sport and is guided by a committee of national sporting organizations and their networks of coaches, athletes and enthusiasts across the country. It's an opportunity for all Canadians to celebrate the power of sport to build community, fortify our national spirit and facilitate healthy, active living.
