Summer is a time of transition: from white fluffy snow to lush green grass, from full-length pants to capri shorts, and from figure skates to running shoes. Similarly, we are transitioning from a print-based newsletter to an email-based newsletter.
But wait...Our newsletter will contain all of the same information distributed in previous versions, but with more accessible hyperlinks and quick, easy access to the most up-to-date information.
Help us with our transition by completing the survey located at the bottom of the newsletter. Your feedback will help us provide you with the information you need.
Congratulations Donna Moses!

Feature Article
Commemorating Dennis McFarlane's Diamond Anniversary of officiating with Skate Canada.
Volunteers are a precious resource in the world of skating. Evaluating at test days, judging and refereeing at competitions, leading seminars and clinics for officials training, participating in feedback sessions for athlete monitoring and assisting club and section volunteers by serving on committees and boards are but a few examples of areas in the sport where officials devote their time. It is this gift of time, talent and expertise that nurtures the sport and takes it to new heights. It is a rare privilege to celebrate sixty years of service as a volunteer, and we're honoured to acknowledge Dennis McFarlane on his Diamond Anniversary of officiating!
